That was exactly what everyone thought in 1993 when a young foreign trade salesman in China had a wild idea: to see bamboo not just as an exotic plant, but as a revolution in construction.
The man was me. Götz Schmitt. And I was obsessed with that idea.
From vision to reality
“Forget it,” they said.
“That never works,” they said.
“Stick with normal wood,” they said.
But normal ideas don't change the world.
So I started. With a container. A garage as a warehouse. And the firm conviction that bamboo can change the world.

Until we did it: Bamboo 2.0, manufactured using our own HCS processing process since 2018. The top clip that revolutionized publishing. Special care products that did not exist before.
Why bamboo changes everything
